About CJOffroad.com

Tony Wilhelm (wiltech)
  Lafayette, IN
CJ Offroad.com Owner

Tony, a software developer for NetLink Technologies, purchased his 1983 CJ-8 3 years ago from Collins Brothers Jeep. He purchased it virtually sight unseen, and drove it straight back to Lafayette, IN from Wylie TX.

Hayden Olenik (hayfever)
Avondale, PA & West Lafayette, IN
CJOffroad.com Administrator

Hayden, a Junior in the Purdue School of Nuclear Engineering, and his 1979 Jeep CJ-7, "Twinkie Dodger" have been through a lot together. The name comes from his trips to visit friends in Indianapolis. He used to draught his friend's Hostess 18-wheeler northbound on I-65 back to Lafayette, and one trip the trailer was shaking due to a bad load. Hayden said "Watch the trailer or I'll be dodging twinkies back here" and the name stuck. Since he purchased the TD February 1, 1999 she's gotten a new motor, swapped the transmission and tcase, been lifted, rolled, and rebuilt. But hey, that's what having a CJ's about, right?

S ince i was a kid and rode in my uncle's CJ7, i've wanted a CJ. i started out with an XJ as my first jeep, but it wasn't cutting it. when the XJ was finally paid off, i sold it, and cashed in on an 83 CJ7. i've now had the CJ for 2 years, and don't ever plan on getting rid of it. there's nothing quite like owning a CJ.
